The next WWE PPV is just around the corner. Judgment Day is May 17th.

So far here’s the card:

• World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Jeff Hardy
• John Cena vs. Big Show
• WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Batista
• ECW Champion Christian vs. Jack Swagger

Why is it the only match listed so far that I’m interested in is Christian/Swagger? I’m sure this will be my match of the night like it was for Backlash.

I’m sure Edge/Jeff Hardy should be a really good match, but I’m in “do I really care if Jeff Hardy wins” mode. Circulating rumors of Hardy not going to resign this summer has put a damper on my enthusiasm for this match. Even if he does win the title, it will likely be a short run.

Big Show/Cena will be a slug fest in slow motion. Big Show will show he’s big and can punch, and Cena will show he’s strong and won’t quit. There I just called the match.

As for Orton/Batista? Don’t really care. Let’s face it, there has been no real build up that makes me want to watch.
