Quick comment on the new @RingOfHonor show

Did you watch the Ring of Honor premier over the weekend? I did. It was a good show, I look forward to more, but unfortunately the production was not great.

First off the two matches were first rate. I’ve never been disappointed with Ring of Honor when it comes to in ring action. The World Greatest Tag Team vs. The Kings of Wrestling, just Wow.

But the over all production of the show was poor. I wasn’t expecting WWE quality production, but I was hoping for at least ROH on HDnet quality. This premier episode had a very low budget feel.

Adding Nigel McGuinness to color was a great idea, but (at least on my end) I could hardly hear him, his mix was way lower than Kevin Kelly’s. McGuinness was just about at the same audio level as the crowd.

I’ve got my DVR set for the next show. I’m sure they’ll improve the production quality as time goes on.
